Abbey Oven Biscotti are gourmet Italian cookies handmade in small batches under the prayerful care of the Benedictine monks of Conception Abbey using fresh, wholesome ingredients. The special dough featuring vanilla and orange flavoring is carefully shaped and baked into loaves. While still warm, the loaves are hand sliced into individual cookies, then baked again for a light crunchy texture, hence the Italian name biscotto or “twice baked.” Once cooled, these generously-sized cookies are hand dipped in rich melted chocolate. Delicious when dipped in steaming coffee, espresso, or tea, Abbey Oven Biscotti are also great for breakfast, snacks, or as after-dinner treats.
