<p>This crucifix is so beautiful, just stunning. I&#39;m so excited; it arrived today and I could hardly wait to hang it. Today is Friday and it was just ordered on Monday. It was very carefully protected in a plastic bag, with Styrofoam, front and back, inside the manufacturer&#39;s box and then inside a sturdy postal box. If you know the history of the San Damiano crucifix and Saint Francis, then you understand how much meaning it has. Well, it has very personal meaning to me as my heart and eyes have recently been opened and I returned to the Catholic Church after many years away. This was a gift from my sisters and brother, which it gives it even more meaning. It hangs on the living room wall, higher than anything else as the Lord is head of this household.
